On the link below you will find the Agenda for the AGM on the 1st December 2012. Please view the news post further down the page for more information on the AGM such as timings and location. Turnout looks promising so please do come along, we’ve some interesting items to discuss aside from the mandatory administration points. If possible, let us know to expect you.

If you are looking to come to the Swedish airsoft game ‘Operation Berget’ in June-July 2012 then please take a look at the new page on our website www.ukapu.org.uk/berget
We had an exelent time at the GZ Weekender. It sometimes feels like everyone who’s ever played airsoft can be found there and so we got to meet loads of old faces and a surprising number of people we know well but who we’ve only ever talked to by electronic means.
Movie Night
Team Recon Six signed up together and got UKAPU membership for £2.50 each. Drop an Email to membership@ukapu.org.uk if your team would like to do the same.
We took on 40 new members over the weekend and had another 20 sign up online afterwards, so an extremely successful weekend for the association. A big thanks for all those that signed up, you should receive your membership packs over the next few weeks.
Thanks again to Zero One for accommodating us, bamako bampots for donating a marque to the association and to Tac Med Wing RAF Lyneham for the loan of the tables and chairs. We have, as you can see, no rich benefactors and we don’t ask for much money from our members so UKAPU has to beg, borrow and graft to make events like this happen !
We hope to feature a report from the game in the next issue of the members only newsletter, Incoming.
This weekend (26th-28th August 2011) we will have our social area set up at the Ground Zero game. If you are a member then please do come by and say hi over a cuppa. Non members can sign up on the spot as we take your attendance at the game as proof that you skirmish. Everyone is welcome to use the facility. Membership, as always, is £5 a year and we will be giving a free tin of beer or cider to new members (whilst stocks last).
The social area will have our banner outside and will be sited where the shops and stalls set up.
If any members are coming who are willing to spare a half hour of their time after the game, please drop an email to chair@ukapu.org.uk as we are going to be canvassing skirmishers as they gather in the evenings. If we can come away from the weekend with several dozen new members it will be of huge benefit to the association but we need your help in getting the word out.
