UK Airsoft Players Union has just published its ‘Beginners Guide to UK Airsoft’, which we hope will help encourage new players into our awesome hobby, answer some common questions and correct one or two misconceptions. Please do have a look, it’s worth a full read through if you are new to this world, but if you are simply looking for advice on a particular subject you will find that the contents is index linked.

Please share it with potential new players and if you can, put up links to the article on your airsoft pages. The guide won’t achieve anything if newbies don’t find it, and airsoft is a big, confusing world to the uninitiated! New participants are the lifeblood of every hobby.

The online application form is experiencing a minor glitch in that you are unable to purchase grey patches via Paypal. You can still purchase grey, green and tan patches through google checkout and green and tan via Paypal. The signup system is only suffering from this one small problem so please do sign up now.

Online membership application form fixed
We are pleased to announce that the online application form, found under the ‘join us’ tab, is back in service. We can only apologise for the down time and hope that none of you have been put off of applying for UKAPU membership. UKAPU is, and always will be, staffed by volunteers. This includes IT and membership processing, so you may not get the same prompt response from us that you might expect from a regular business. However, unpaid voluntary staff are one of our strengths and help the association remain honest and independent.

The form has been fixed so we hope that individuals who had difficulties applying in the last few weeks will try again, your membership is much needed and highly valued by everyone here in UKAPU management.
