EU Firearms Proposal news- the european commission is trying every dirty trick to fight against the european parliament’s sensible amemdments. They have accusing our elected representatives of blocking the proposal, because they won’t rubber stamp the commissions authoritarian version of it, in defiance of the will of the people of Europe. It’s behavior like this which is turning the population against the EU, but they don’t seem to recognise this.
Nobody is sure about the current position on replicas right now, it’s all happening behind closed doors, but we do know they are trying to heavily restrict real firearms. There’s a public meeting between IMCO and the commission very soon, hopefully from there we will find out what’s going on.
Even if things turn out OK for replicas, we need to come out strongly in support of the rest of the firearms community.
